Mary Lyn Kagan has 25 years business development and administrative experience, with 10 years project administration in construction and engineering. Mary Lyn has experience with Fortune 500 companies, such as Blue Cross of California, Safeway, and Boyle Engineering Corporation, as well as small business establishments.

Mary Lyn is a Certified Project Manager and has been sole proprietor of her own company for over 14 years.  She is currently Chairperson for the San Juan Education Foundation (SJEF) and actively participates on the SJEF Grants Committee. Mary Lyn is a member and Club Director of the Point West Rotary Club of Sacramento, the District 5180 Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) Inbound Student Coordinator, a Citizen Diplomat Member of the Northern California World Trade Center, and member of the International Project Management Association. Previous board and committee involvements include her appointed position on the Sacramento County Children’s Coalition (4 yrs) and their Advocacy Committee, 2 years as E:merge Coalition Leadership Team (youth leadership focus) Chairperson for the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber - Education Committee and member of the Chamber’s Small Business Advisory Committee.  Additionally, she served four years on the Sacramento City Unified School District’s Bond Oversight Committee.
